Martin Emslie
Martin Emslie is much in demand throughout Somerset as a freelance Musical Director and arranger, tackling a wide variety of shows as diverse as West Side Story, Honk, My Fair Lady, Wizard of Oz, Godspell, Oklahoma and Grease as well as Oratorio such as Stainer’s Crucifixion.
Martin has taught music from primary school age up to “A” level and is the Director of Music for two Parish churches in Somerset in addition to Castle Cary Choir and Oakfield Choir, Frome.
As well as being a Fellow of and examiner for the London College of Music, Martin is a composer in his own right and has penned a works ranging from short pieces for mixed choir up to the full length Oratorio ‘Omega and Alpha’ which has it’s World Premiere in Wells Cathedral in April 2013m and an extended 190th anniversaty performance in 2023.
