We are a well established community choir of mixed voices who meet weekly in Castle Cary, Somerset. We sing a varied repertoire from musical and film favourites, choral classics, to debut compositions.
Our Next Performance
Wednesday 21 October 2026, Otter Nurseries, Wincanton from 1.30pm
A light hearted informal performance to kick off Otter’s Christmas season! Enjoy browsing through the festive goodies, or treat yourself to a coffee in the cafe, and let us sing you into the season of goodwill! Free for all Otter visitors!!
Friday 18 December, Castle Cary Methodist Church, 7.30pm
Our long standing Christmas Concert at the Methodist Church, with a mix of secular festive favorites and traditional carols, (audience participation encouraged!) and of course, home-made mince pies. Tickets will be available via this website, and at local shops in Castle Cary – details to follow.
Our mission is to allow people who enjoy singing to come together as a group to foster the love and appreciation of music and to raise money for deserving causes.
We meet for rehearsals on Monday evenings between 7.30pm and 9.30pm, at Castle Cary Methodist Church. We are always happy to welcome new members – there’s no audition, and you don’t need to or be able to read music. Take a look at our Join Us page if you are interested. Our Song Book page gives you a flavour of our repertoire. If you love to sing, we would love to see you!
We love to support organisations who raise funds for charitable causes. Recent examples include concerts to raise funds for St Margaret’s Hospice, Cary Cares, and the Maple Unit for Breast Cancer Care at Yeovil District Hospital.
If you are interested in the choir raising funds for your charity or organisation, please see our Can we sing for you? page. For more information, please contact us.
