We are always happy to welcome new members. We sing not only for our own enjoyment but also love to perform at concerts often raising funds for local charitable organisations. Come and share the enjoyment of singing and then experience that special “buzz” we get at concert time!
The ability to read music is not a requirement (and it’s remarkable how quickly you can pick it up), and there are no auditions. Martin is happy to advise which voice section in the Choir would be right for you.
Your first week is free of charge, and if you decide to join, members pay a modest annual subscription which goes part way to the cost of our insurance, music, and rehearsal space hire.
We meet for rehearsals on Mondays from 7.30 to 9.30 at Castle Cary Methodist Church, North Street, Castle Cary BA7 7AT, except for a summer break during July and August each year and a short break over Christmas.
