Welcome!
Our mission is “ to allow people who enjoy singing to come together as a group, in order to foster the love and appreciation of music; to raise money for deserving causes and willingly give its services to help raise money for charity.”
We are a well established community choir of mixed voices who meet weekly in Castle Cary. We sing a varied repertoire from musical and film favourites, choral classics, to debut compositions.
We meet for rehearsals on Monday evenings between 7.30pm and 9.30pm, at Castle Cary Methodist Church. We are always happy to welcome new members, and there is no need to audition. Take a look at our Join Us page if you are interested. Our Song Book page gives you a flavour of our repertoire. If you love to sing, we would love to see you!
We love to support organisations who raise funds for charitable causes. Recent examples have included concerts to raise funds for people impacted by the war in Ukraine, Queen Camel Church, and Evercreech Church. This year we will be singing to raise funds for All Saints Church, Castle Cary Church, and the Breast Cancer Care Unit at Yeovil District Hospital.
If you are interested in the choir raising funds for your charity or organisation, please see our Can we sing for you? page. For more information, please contact us.
In 2025 we are celebrating our Diamond Anniversary year! Our Events page has information on our special performances to celebrate, and the 60 Years of Song page tells you more about our history.
